What happens after you upload.

  1. Your work

EPUB, PDF, DOCX, MOBI, AZW3, TXT, MD, HTML, or ZIP.

  2. What readers see

Title, author name, cover, and the language you wrote in. Add language editions and they are included in the price.

  3. Text, audio, and a video clip

The reading edition and the narration are built for you while you finish the rest.

  4. Your price

Between $20 and $5,000. You set it, and you can change it after it is published.

  5. Where you get paid

Add the debit card your sales are paid to. Sales settle straight to it.

The reader's side, working for you.

No membership required to buy

A reader pays your price and nothing else. They never need a plan of their own to buy your book, so there is nothing between them and the purchase.

A preview that sells the book

The first pages read free. Then your price stands between the reader and the rest, on the page your book owns.

Theirs once they buy it

A purchase stays on the reader's shelf. They read, listen, or watch where they left off, on a phone or a 115-inch screen.

Your work stays yours.

readerxo does not take ownership of anything you publish. The copyright in your book, your narration, your cover, and your video remains yours. The platform holds only the permission it needs to store your files, build your formats, and show your work to the readers who bought it.

Publishing runs on your readerxo plan.

$20 a month is what lets you publish, start a club, and go live. It is the same plan for all three, and it is separate from what you charge for your own work. Your book can carry its own club, and you can go live for the people reading it.

What authors ask before they publish.

Who owns my book after I publish?
You do. The copyright in your book, your narration, your cover, and your video stays yours. readerxo takes only the permission needed to store your files, build your formats, and show your work to the readers entitled to it.
Can I change the price later?
Yes, whenever you want, anywhere between $20 and $5,000. What you keep is shown to you before you publish and every time you change it.
How do I get paid?
You add the debit card your sales settle to. Sales go straight to it, and your Studio shows every sale as a number, not a formula.
Do my readers need to pay for readerxo?
No. Readers buy your book at your price and that is the whole transaction. Only creators hold the plan.
What does the plan cover besides publishing?
Starting a club and going live. Your book can carry its own club, and you can go live for the people reading it, on the same plan.

Upload your work and see it as a reader will.
