What we weigh
Enforcement considers what was posted, whether it was deliberate, whether it caused harm, and whether it has happened before. A first mistake and a pattern are not treated the same.
The range of actions
Depending on severity: the content is removed; a warning is issued; a feature is restricted, such as publishing, hosting, live broadcast, or messaging; the account is suspended for a period; or the account is terminated.
Immediate removal
Child sexual exploitation, credible threats of violence, and active fraud are removed on sight and the account is terminated without a warning step.
What happens to a club
Removing a host does not close their club. Where a club has members and scheduled sessions, ownership may be transferred so the members are not stranded by one person's conduct.
Money already taken
An account terminated for violating these policies forfeits pending payouts to the extent the balance is tied to the violation. Members who paid for access to something removed are handled under the Refund Policy.
How to appeal
Reply through Support within 30 days of the decision. Say what was removed and why you believe the decision was wrong. An appeal is reviewed by someone who did not make the original call.
What an appeal is not
An appeal reconsiders whether a policy was applied correctly. It does not relitigate whether the policy should exist.
